Marble and Stone Grinding, Marble Stain Removal
Jim Lytell Marble and Stone Restoration has mastered restoring marble and stone surfaces through grinding and stain removal. Jim Lytell Inc. uses grinding to eliminate etches, lippage (uneven tile), or damage from normal everyday use on all types of stone installations. White marble or travertine can stain very easily by rust or even wine. You really need to be careful with anything that can stain a stones surface. If you have a stain on your white marble counter or stone floor, don’t worry. Jim Lytell Marble and Stone Restoration is here to help. A stain on your granite or marble could require a poultice first, followed by grinding or polishing, and finally sealing. Stone grinding is the process of using sequentially finer diamond abrasives to cut through worn, scratched, etched, or otherwise damaged areas. Once the damage is cleared, grinding is followed up with polishing or honing, to restore the surface to your desired finish. Finally, your stone should be sealed to ensure protection from every day use. This is all accomplished with our proprietary dustless method. Once complete, the marble is returned to a uniform, even, beautiful finish. A variety of finish levels are available to suit your location and needs. Jim Lytell’s proprietary dustless method ensures that your marble can be restored without interfering with the rest of your property. From big jobs to small polishing jobs, local jobs to far away jobs, we can do it all.
